The eighties are a decade of exhibition,
and in the kitchen everything is in plain sight.

Design becomes a facto in choice.

Stainless steel becomes a protagonist.

In 1986 the Custom-made products of Foster are born.

1983: Compact Oven

A great success for the first idea of a ventilated electric oven of just 36cm height minimum space and maximum speed, with low energy consumption.

1984: The Cook&Wash

Foster introduces a 4 burners' gas hob, a ventilated electric oven, a dishwasher and a storage compartment, all in just 60x60 cm.

1986: Tailored space

The custom-made worktops with integrated high-quality cooker hob and sink are born.

1989: The sink's colour evolution

Evoluzione, a revolutionary sink with a folding draining board, the food waste disposer and the bin with top access for separate recycling purposes...the first true alternative to stainless steel.
