The drawing shows the side view of the Space system. The low height of the waste fitting and the design of the syphon optimise the under-sink area while leaving the space needed for waste collection requirements. Notes on the compatibility of automatic waste fittings Automatic waste fittings are compatible with sinks that have at least a second hole (in addition to the one for the mixer tap). For many sinks, this is not included as standard but can be requested when ordering. The sink drawings show the holes included as standard with a continuous line, the positions of any holes on request are indicated with a dotted line (see example below). For undermount sinks, the possibility of installing an automatic waste fitting is always indicated because the hole can be made on the worktop. Always check the type of sink overflow so that a compatible automatic waste fitting is chosen. The Space plug collects food residues in the flexible neoprene basket underneath, which is very easy to clean. The new Space Light and Push automatic waste fittings are even more convenient and enable the drain to be opened with a simple touch.
